On April 20th at 1240am a fire occurred within a wood pallet manufacturing business and custom wood supply yard near the Richmond Landfill within Battalion 7 area.

Battalion 7 engines from Rodeo-Hercules, Pinole and Contra Costa Fire as well as engines from San Ramon Fire and Richmond Fire all participated in this multi alarm incident.

The fire had been burning some time prior to arrival of Battalion 7 units and was not under control for some two hours afterward.
