A special thank you to all our guests who helped make this a great community event. The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Search & Rescue Team was here with their rescue dogs and equestrian team. They also were able to bring several pieces of equipment to demonstrate their resources -- and the Prowler was here as well. Contra Costa County Haz Mat personnel were also in attendance with their Haz Mat vehicle. Free hot dogs, balloons and bicycle helmets were handed out and the firefighters provided demonstrations on the District's burn trailer and vehicle extrication. Thank you to Safeway, Lucky's and McDonalds for their contributions.
