Community Advisory Panel

The purposes of the RHFD Community Advisory Panel are:

• Promote mutual understanding and improve two-way communications between the District and the local community
  
• Function as a "sounding board" to enable the District to gauge the reaction of the community to issues and actions of concern to the community
  
• Assist with community outreach on public-safety issues and programs.
  

• Held monthly meetings at the Rodeo Fire Station
  
• Representative attended monthly District Board meetings
  
• Co-Chairs met monthly with Fire Chief
  
• Prepared Valentine's Day Dinners for all shifts
  
• Assisted with CERT Training and Disaster Simulation - March, June & November
  
• Received training on operating the Fire Safety House
  
• Attended September 11 Dinner honoring Firefighter/ Police Officer of the Year
  
• Assisted at RHFD Open House at Station 76
  
• Participated in Rodeo & Hercules Tree Lighting events
  
• Participated in Christmas Coalition Activities
  
• Delivered holiday cookies to each station/each shift
